Phase 1

Driver Recruitment with Candidate Evaluation

• School visits, social media postings, employees’ entourage
• Candidates with or without experience driving heavy vehicles
• Evaluation of the candidate’s skills and attitude, both on the road and in interviews

Phase 2

Training to Obtain Class 1, 2, 3, 4, or A, B, C, D, E, F License

• Training to prepare candidates for the SAAQ theoretical and practical exams to obtain a professional driver’s license 
• Theoretical training on air brakes, circle check inspections, and hours of service regulations
• Practical training in heavy vehicle driving

Phase 3

Specialized Industry Environment Training for Class 1, 2, or 3 License

Holders

• Training the candidates with a professional driver’s license in a specialized environment (e.g., pump, container, concrete, load securement, oversized loads, towing, school bus)

Phase 4

Company-Specific Training

• Training the professional driver with specialized skill to understand company policies and tools (e.g., type of logbook used, required safety checks, and customer service expectations)

Phase 5

On-the-Job Training

• Practical field training with a mentor

Profile 1

Ongoing Training – Specific government training (In-Class, In-Company)

• Each year or at request, a group of candidates attends a specific training session covering an aspect of the government regulations such as hour of service, circle check inspection, defensive driving, load securement, transport of dangerous goods, CVOR and Law 430. A specific training will be from 4 to 6 hours and a certificate will be given to each candidate (drivers, manager or director)

Profile 2

Ongoing Training – Customized Component (In-Class)

• Each year, a group of candidates attends a condensed training session focusing on the most relevant regulatory topics for the company to prevent violation of commercial drivers, such as:
  • Hour of service and defensive driving
  • Load securing and circle check inspection
  • Various other topics and course combinations can also be included, depending on the company’s needs

Profile 3

Ongoing Training and meeting – Customized Component with Group or Individual, Sessions (In-Class or On-the-Job)

• Candidates are met in a friendly setting, either in group sessions or one-on-one
• Includes on-road evaluation with professional discussions to assess the driver’s profile and identify strengths and areas for improvement of the company, the direction and the drivers.
• Training review of the specialized environment (e.g., pump, container, concrete, load securing, oversized loads, towing, school bus)

Application of Laws 430 and CSA 2010 (USA)

By improving your safety rating, you will significantly reduce your insurance costs. This training will help foster teamwork and provide the expertise necessary to improve your company's profitability.

Load Securement

Training focused on the application of Canadian Standard 10 and U.S. load securement regulations.

Wide Load

Designed for experienced drivers and staff, this course explains oversize transport regulations in simplified terms. Teamwork among colleagues is essential in this field.

Mechanical Management

Years of experience have led to a better understanding of fleet mechanical management. Simplified brochures and software tools will help you better control costs and ease the workload for your mechanics.

Logbooks

This course covers the use of electronic logging devices (logbooks). Drivers, dispatchers, and clients each play a key role in optimizing the complex management of hours-of-service regulations.

Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

Every product is different. It is essential to accept or reject loads based on your qualifications. Upon passing the course, you will receive a valid certification card for 3 years.

Pre-Trip Inspection and Preventive Driving

It is recommended to combine these two trainings. A proper pre-trip inspection based on industry standards helps the driver better prepare for preventive driving, considering load type, road conditions, and equipment used.
